Make a Real Ecological Impact in Your Place, Season by Season

The EarthCare Journey offers guided support to move you from ecological overwhelm to mindful action, at a pace that fits your real life and your unique Place.

The Ecological Crisis is Heavy.
And Your Care Runs Deep.

If you're anything like us, you feel a lot for Nature.

When you think about the state of the planet, you feel grief, anxiety, or overwhelm.

And the people around you may not always understand why it weighs on you so heavily.

That is a lot to carry alone.

The EarthCare Journey connects you with other Nature lovers across many bioregions who are taking small, steady steps.

Together, we are creating communities of care and impact.

There is a Different Way to Care for the Earth.

Much of what we have been taught about environmental action keeps us in separation. It treats Nature as something to manage, fix, or protect from ourselves.

It comes from guilt, fear and the destructive belief that humans are a "plague upon this planet." It leaves sensitive, caring people exhausted and guilt-ridden, never quite sure we are doing enough of the "right" things in the "right" ways.

This old approach stripped us of our most meaningful and natural role as a species: stewards of the land.

EarthCare is the way to remember our responsibility.

We are part of Nature too.

We are participants in our ecological community, meant for reciprocal relationship with the living world, where care flows both ways.

This is the oldest human work, and it always gives back.

A way that is Grounded in a Reciprocal Relationship.

“As we work to heal the Earth, the Earth heals us”

– Robin Wall Kimmerer

So, what is EarthCare?

EarthCare is mindful ecological action emerging from a reciprocal relationship with Nature in your Place.

Your Place is wherever you live, love, work, or worship and have permission to tend: a windowsill, a balcony, a backyard, or beyond.

EarthCare is a radically different approach to caring for the Earth, rooted in curiosity, kinship, stewardship and regeneration.

EarthCare IS self-care. When you slow down and tend your Place with curiosity and care, the reciprocal relationship with Nature tends to you too.

The Earth doesn’t need perfection.

She needs our participation.

Feeling overwhelmed by the ecological crisis? Worried about pollinators? Unsure what to do?

You're not alone. Many of us want to make a difference, but get stuck in questions like:

question 1.png

Can I really make a difference from my small space?

What can I do to save and support wildlife?

Where can I learn to listen to the land?

Should I trust my landscaper's conventional advice?

How do I create wildlife habitat in urban spaces?

All these questions (and many others you may be asking yourself) are very real and common.

The EarthCare Journey is deisgned to help you slow down, tune in, and take gentle, meaningful steps that make a real impact in your Place.

Hi, I'm Kendra.

I’m an ecological designer who spent the last decade helping clients transform their landscapes into thriving wildlife habitats, in my Place: the Susquehanna watershed of Central PA.

In that time, I learned that the people who make the most impact are rarely the ones who try to do the most. They are the highly sensitive ones, with deep feelings of love and loss, who keep showing up anyway, season after season, with genuine curiosity and care.

After witnessing countless moments of grief, joy and connection through hands-on work with the land, I realized that the missing piece wasn't more effort, information or training - it was accessible guidance that honors both the emotional and practical sides of caring for our Earth.

The EarthCare Journey emerged from my own ecological awakening and desire to find my mission - and from watching clients discover their confidence and a sense of belonging as land stewards. Every resource reflects years of listening to the land, learning from mistakes, and celebrating small wins that created more impact than I ever could have imagined.

I believe that when we slow down, tune in, and tend our own small patch of Earth - whether it's a windowsill, backyard, or larger landscape - we're remembering what it means to be human again. And that is world-changing.

The 2026 Founding Circle will be lovely. I look forward to learning from you, listening to you, and refining this program with you.

Stay wild and wonder-filled,

Kendra

WHAT MAKES THE EARTHCARE JOURNEY DIFFERENT?

A seasonal rhythm aligned with Nature

It is not a race to combat the polycrisis. Each season, we gather to reflect, regulate, and refine our ecological impact goals. This is a cyclical journey, which means you can "start where you are" and return to each gateway with fresh eyes, season after season.

Facilitation, not consulting

Kendra is a facilitator and Nature is your Guide. The EarthCare Journey empowers you to become the steward of your own Place. You receive DIY guidance and live support, and you lead your own ecological journey at a pace that makes sense for your life and your land.

Nervous system support and co-regulation

The people most drawn to making a difference for the Earth tend to be sensitive. That sensitivity is a gift. Wisdom Circles are facilitated spaces where ecological grief is acknowledged, nervous system regulation is woven in, and we move forward from a place of grounded vision rather than urgent reaction.

Designed for your actual Place and life

It doesn't matter what size or scope of land access you have. A windowsill, a balcony, a backyard, a suburban lot, or many acres → the EarthCare Journey scales to your Place, your schedule, and your capacity. Some Library resources are specifically designed for urban and suburban environments. You do not need to own land, have previous experience, or know anything to begin.

A decade of field-tested ecological expertise

With over ten years of ecological coaching, landscape design, and hands-on work alongside Nature lovers navigating their ecological awakening, Kendra brings grounded expertise and the experience of someone who has walked this path herself, from childhood.

This is not another generic online course with too much content you will never finish and feel worse about investing in... it's a live experience.
