Make a Real Ecological Impact in Your Place, Season by Season

The EarthCare Journey offers four seasons of guided support to move you from ecological overwhelm to mindful action, at a pace that fits your real life and your unique Place.

The Ecological Crisis is Heavy.
And Your Care Runs Deep.

You feel a lot for Nature. Enough that you are holding grief, anxiety, or overwhelm about the state of the planet, and enough that the people around you may not always understand why it weighs on you the way it does.

That is a lot to carry alone.

The EarthCare Journey connects you with other Nature lovers across bioregions who are taking small, steady steps together and creating a ripple effect of care.

You’re in the right place if you’re feeling...

Overwhelmed by the scale of the ecological crisis, and unsure where your own care fits

Eager to make a difference, but stuck between not knowing where to start and the fear of doing it wrong

Worn down by generic advice that ignores your unique Place, your real life, and the genuine constraints of your capacity

Ready to find your people so you don't have to carry this work alone

There is a Different Way to Care for the Earth that is Grounded, Reciprocal, and Rooted in Kinship.

Much of what we have been taught about environmental action keeps us in separation. It treats Nature as something to manage, fix, or protect from ourselves. It comes from fear, and it leaves sensitive, caring people exhausted and guilt-ridden, never quite sure we are doing enough of the "right" things in the "right" ways.

It also strips us of our most meaningful role as a species: stewards of the land.

We are part of Nature, not separate from it. We are participants in our ecological community, meant for reciprocal relationship with the living world, where care flows both ways.

This is the oldest human work. It is also the most urgent work of our time.

“As we work to heal the Earth, the Earth heals us”

– Robin Wall Kimmerer

Welcome to the

EARTHCARE Journey

Founding Circle Starts May 2026

The EarthCare Journey offers support for Nature lovers like you who are ready to move from knowing you want to make a difference to taking aligned action in your Place, in a way that honors Nature's pace and your real capacity.

You will get four seasons of support and resources structured around the rhythms of Nature, including:

Plan Your EarthCare Journey Workshop

A foundational workshop providing the space to take honest inventory of your capacity, tend to your ecological grief, and set a realistic impact goal for the season ahead. The replay will be waiting for you in your Welcome Orientation.

Welcome Orientation

A welcome video from Kendra, a four-part audio series introducing the EarthCare Compass, and access links to our live gathering spaces.

4 Seasonal Wisdom Circles

Quarterly live Zoom gatherings (2 to 3 hours each), facilitated by Kendra. Each Circle holds space for ecological grief, includes nervous system regulation practices, guided reflection, breakout conversations, and live Q&A coaching. The first Wisdom Circle is May 21, 2026. Summer, fall, and winter dates will be set with input from the group to maximize attendance.

EarthCare Town Square

A private Slack community with dedicated channels for connecting with other members and EarthCare Professionals between calls. Share your Nature observations, wins, and favorite resources. Meet others across bioregions and remember you are not carrying this alone. As a founding member, you help shape the culture of this space from day one.

One Year Access to the EarthCare Library

A curated vault of Nature connection routines, mini courses, guides, checklists, and 40+ archived video sessions. You will also receive a monthly ZINE with seasonal small steps, the Core Routines Collection, and recordings from every Wisdom Circle. Available at your own pace.

So, what is EarthCare?

EarthCare is mindful ecological action emerging from a reciprocal relationship with Nature in your Place.

Your Place is wherever you live, love, work, or worship and have permission to tend: a windowsill, a balcony, a backyard, or beyond.

EarthCare is a radically different approach to caring for the Earth, rooted in curiosity, kinship, regeneration, and stewardship.

And here is the piece that changes everything: EarthCare IS self-care. When you slow down and tend your Place with curiosity and care, the reciprocal relationship with Nature tends to you too.

Hi, I'm Kendra.

I am the founder of LadyBug EarthCare, a small ecological design and regenerative landscaping company in my Place: Central PA, which is evolving into a Collective of EarthCare Professionals.

I am also the curator of the EarthCare Library and author of EarthCare Matters - the newsletter for Nature lovers who want to make a difference for the planet during the ecological crisis. For nearly a decade, I have served my local community by offering ecological design, land stewardship, consulting and coaching.

In that time, I have learned that the people who make the most lasting difference are rarely the ones who try to do the most. They are the ones who find a sustainable rhythm in their own Place and keep showing up to it, season after season, with genuine curiosity and care. They are the highly sensitive ones who see something new each time around and love the spiral aspect of the journey.

That understanding came from my own journey, through cycles of grief and burnout, mixed with phases of incredible joy and fulfillment.

The EarthCare Journey is built from everything I learned in that process, and from everything I have witnessed in the people I have coached and facilitated over the years. The 2026 Founding Circle is small by design. I am looking forward to learning from you, listening to your concerns, challenges and ideas, and refining this program with you.

The journey begins in May, and I hope you will join us.

Stay wild and wonder-filled,

Kendra M. Hoffman

WHAT MAKES THE EARTHCARE JOURNEY DIFFERENT?

A seasonal rhythm, not a sprint

The program moves with the natural year. Awareness in spring, Connection in summer, Action in fall, Impact in winter. Each season, we gather to reflect, regulate, and refine what the next one asks of us. This is a cyclical journey, which means you can begin where you are and return to each gateway with fresh eyes, season after season.

Coaching, not consulting

Kendra is a facilitator and a coach, not a prescriber. The EarthCare Journey empowers you to become the steward of your own Place. You receive DIY guidance and live support, and you lead your own ecological journey at a pace that makes sense for your life and your land.

Nervous system support and co-regulation

The people most drawn to making a difference for the Earth tend to be sensitive. That sensitivity is a gift. Wisdom Circles are facilitated spaces where ecological grief is acknowledged as real, nervous system regulation is woven in, and we move forward from a place of groundedness rather than urgency.

Designed for your actual Place and life

It doesn't matter what size or scope of land access you have. A windowsill, a balcony, a backyard, a suburban lot, or many acres → the EarthCare Journey scales to your Place, your schedule, and your capacity. Some Library resources are specifically designed for urban and suburban environments. You do not need to own land, have previous experience, or know anything to begin.

A decade of field-tested ecological expertise

With over ten years of ecological coaching, landscape design, and hands-on work alongside Nature lovers navigating their ecological awakening, Kendra brings grounded expertise and the experience of someone who has walked this path herself, from childhood.

You attended the Plan Your EarthCare Journey workshop, have a plan taking shape, and want four seasons of support to actually live it

white-check.png

You’ve tried to build Nature connection practices and ecological habits on your own, but found them fading when life gets busy or heavy

white-check.png

You are a self-directed person who works better with a seasonal rhythm and a community around you, rather than working entirely alone

white-check.png

You want live, facilitated experiences to support your process with other Nature lovers

white-check.png

You want to be part of something from the beginning and carry founding member access into every future version

This is not the right fit if…

white-cross.png

You don’t think your individual action matters or can make a difference
